Picture with the president of NYU, Mr. John Sexton

I just had the honor to perform for our current president... mr John.. he was very kind enough to come to me and tell me that he really liked the music we were making! He also said that classical music was his favorite kind of music!

NYU's Holiday Party at Washington Square, Grand Hall.

I was having a hard time making this video while the current president of NYU was giving a speech.. but I thought it'd be interesting to share this moment..

Performing at the Duke's house

Last week, I've been honored to perform at NYU Institue of Fine Arts for their 100th anniversary celebrations!  the building of this school is UNBELIEVABLE.. definitely worth seeing.. check it out:http://alumni.nyu.edu/s/1068/social.aspx?sid=1068&gid=1&pgid=2962

Rehearsal with NYU Symphony...

NYU Symphony is warming up before rehearsing Brahms Symphony No.3 !! such a gorgeous piece, especially the big cello solo in the beginning of the 3rd movement... It's been a great pleasure to be the cello section leader for two years... hope you enjoy the video!

while rehearsing with NYU String Quartet...

I would like to share with you all this video of my quartet rehearsing Haydn's quartet no.3 the rider. They're all amazing musicians and it's been a great pleasure making music with them.. the video starts with no sound because there's a door between the camera and the players but from about 0:30 I go into the room with the camera so you can hear them play!.... enjoy!

Dear all, I wanted to share a recording that I did recently with my dear friend, pianist, Minji Kwon. I'm new on blogging so forgive me for my lateness..

I'm really happy and excited to be in the same class with you all !

I wanted to say that all the exercises we've done so far in the class had a big role in my playing.

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Best,
Emirhan
